Hot Rollers, my New Best Friends

I don't know if you guys remember me telling you a little while ago that I needed to replace some of my hair equipment, because every girl needs to do that sometimes, OK? On that trip to the fab aisle in Target, I picked myself up an extra set of hot rollers, because the set I had previously is a travel set, which does not work with as much hair as I possess. Anyhow, before you start calling me an old woman, I just want to tell you that when I use hot rollers, not only do I feel like I am channeling Farrah Fawcett but I also end up with fabulous looking hair full of volume. I love it!

Before you start giving me a hard time about my shirt, I only own it because I spilled coffee in the gift bag for the giving tree at work. The 13 year old I was gifting for happened to want tons of Justin Bieber stuff but I couldn't very well give her something that was stained, could I? Don't worry about her, she still has a hat, calendar and"action figure" to call her very own. Any how, this is my very loose process in hot roller heaven and my lovely results. I bought a set of Remington Hot Rollers at Target which were very affordable and work like a dream. My travel set is also Remington which have served me for quite some time and are also very affordable. You get what I am saying.

Make sure you start with dry hair or barely damp hair. I usually pull mine back into a loose pony and pull pieces out for every new roller but obvi do whatever works for you. I usually use the smaller rollers on my bangs and those loose tendrils that somehow missed the initial application. Then I just roll over my head! I don't fret about the curlers being perfectly rolled and secured as such. I always get the best volume when I just go with the flow. If all else fails, you just do a curl or two again!

Do you use hot rollers? Have any tips or tricks?

  1. I could do with some more volume for my hair!! The old generation had great hair particularly since they had no hair straighteners back then.

  3. Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I
could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I'm using
the same blog platform as yours and I'm having trouble
    finding one? Thanks a lot!
