Sassy Spring and Summer Accessories from SwimOutlet.com

It will be a little while until I am in a normal person's bathing suit, but that doesn't mean that I can't get excited about Spring and Summer accessories. I'll still need protection from the Sun am I right? SwimOutlet.com (sister site of my ever favorite YogaOutlet.com) was kind enough to introduce me to some really stylish but perfectly functional Summer goodies for when I am walking with the lil' baby boy in the sunshine-y weather.

My Must Have All Purpose DIY Tools

I am super into crafting and sewing, which as you can imagine has resulted in me having supplies for every project imaginable. Said supplies take up the "hers" closet in our basement/rec room. Just recently, I have been in a phase where I want to streamline everything, cleaning and organizing, in preparation for the baby but also because I know that I simply have to much stuff. This organizing of crafting/creating supplies got me thinking, which ones are my must haves that are good for a lot of different projects? I took stock of what I own and what I use the most, thinking it would be awesome to share what my must have all purpose DIY tools are. These are the items that I need to have on hand for any project that might come to my mind or strikes my fancy. I would consider these foundational for me.

My Fave Things for the Home Right Now

We are finally getting this house together and while I have slowed on collecting things for the house (and have picked up on collecting things for a baby) there is still a part of me that wants to decorate, decorate, decorate... and then find some more space to decorate. My husband has been on a painting world tour, currently with a stop in the dining room, after a long stay in our downstairs bathroom so I am being enabled before this baby comes... so while I (he) am painting, I need to update the spaces, right?

Sponsored Video: Burt's Bees Natural Lip Tips

You've got to know that me here at Prim and Propah loves a good lip stick, gloss or tint. Beauty stuff is in my top 5 favorite things to use and collect. No one knows color better than nature's hues, and nobody knows natural lip color better than Burt's Bees. They have your every lip coverage, sheer and full, under control so that you can choose which intensity fits your needs on any given day. Don't know which shade is best for you? Don't fret,  I took a short and fun quiz to find the perfect shade of Burt's Bees lip color for whatever coverage that I was looking for. You can find your perfect shade of Burt's Bees here and consult the ultimate beauty expert: nature. ;-)

I've used Burt's Bees products before, mostly of the lip balm nature in order to alleviate the annoyance of chapped lips but I am excited to try out the colors and coverages that our friends at BB's have to offer. Now that I have the know how, I have the tools needed to grab a lip shine that fits my complexion and needs without regret. Why not give it a shot and if you've never tried Burt's Bees products? Well, you're missing out... seriously.

Have you checked out Burt's Bees line of lip products? If so, what is your favorite?

To Tommy from Zooey, a Surprising Surprise

When I first heard that Zooey Deschanel was working on a capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger, I was kind of "meh" about the whole thing. Though I love Zooey long time, I have never really been a huge Tommy Hilfiger fan. Tommy is arguably an all American brand with brand recognition and longevity on it's side, for sure... so there is no lack of respect there. Of course, I had to check the clothes out due to said respect and once I did? I was sort of smitten.

Baby Loves Burritos + Win Boloco Goodies!

After leaving another blogger's baby shower, I really had a hankering for a Boloco burrito. I immediately fed that hunger and tweeted the following, mostly as a joke but also with a slight hope that Boloco would jump at the chance to throw me a baby shower, something I am sure that they do on the regular. ;-) In any event, I received many responses that would lead me to believe that my friends would indeed eat a burrito in my baby's honor!

Majestical Jewelry, Baubles for this Baby Mama + Giveaway

This past month I was given the opportunity to sport some new jingle jangles from Majestical Jewelry. Recently, if you recall, I have been pretty obsessed with accessories, handbags and shoes... because, well, simply put, they fit this baby maker. The jewelry from Majestical Jewelry is no exception. Though at first I was a little meh about the site design (Bauble Bar's is so much funner), I quickly got over it because there is a decent selection there, which is something that is always appealing to me. In addition to a great selection is the fact that the prices are very affordable for fashion/costume jewelry. You don't have to worry about breaking the bank to get a new bauble.

Julie Michaud Prettyology, a Must Visit on Newbury Street

Last week, I had the opportunity to hit up Julie Michaud Prettyology Boston for some facial and brow action... let me just start with the following sentiment... I felt the ultimate in pampering, which is what I would expect from a salon on Newbury Street but beyond that, the staff was supremely stellar and made me feel so comfortable. The visit even prompted me to write a positive Yelp! review and usually I reserve Yelp! reviews for venting ;-). The visit was that good.
