Making It Up: Scarlett Johansson's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Scarlett Johansson is currently starring on Broadway in the popular Tennessee Williams' play, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and while I moderately care about the play itself, I am more interested in her makeup for her premiere parties. Because I do spend some amount of time on Zimbio, I do find great close ups of some of my favorite gals, which inspire me to either try the looks myself, tell you all about it or both. In this case, I am just going to tell you about and recommend some of my fave products (because I am still trying to work my makeup around this new hair color). Check it.

Ugh, her skin is so flawless... but I will not obsess over it. She looks so airbrushed but perhaps she was before she went to this party... again, I will not obsess. I think what was so striking about this makeup look to me was the combination of the red lip (with a touch of orange me thinks), the light dusting of blue shadow and tight, lined eye. Those gorgeous earrings and simple hairstyle don't hurt the look either but rather help showcase it. I think she looks striking.

Some of my favorite, and mostly affordable options include your typical drugstore beauty brands and those that I only know of to find at a fancy department store beauty counter. What do you think? It's an easily attainable look, right?

Stila Eyeshadow Compact in Poppy, $18.00, The Balm Shady Lady Shadow Brush, $8.00, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind, The Lifter Foundation, $11.99, Lancome L'Absolu Rouge in Caprice, $29.50, Tarte EmphasEYES Waterproof Linerpot in Black, $24 e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara, $3.00
