The Year of Nails

This year I feel like I have see everybody and their sister's nail art online. Instagram and other such photo sharing apps have made it possible for everyone to share their fave manicures whether they had it done at the salon or did it themselves. I have seen so many that now I actually feel that there are really good and then there are the poorly done. I guess the overload of sassy manicures has made me somewhat of a snob now, that I tell the man when I see one I don't like "if you're gonna post your self manicure online, make sure you clean the nail polish off your skin on your fingers, gah!"... and he looks at me with a blank stare. Anyhoo, I have seen some great manis on our fave celebs and thought I would share some of them as well as the polishes I plan to pick up (if I don't already own them) so check them all out after the break!

My Dream Wedding Shoes... and Why I Didn't Get Them

In the quest of having the most perfect and memorable wedding ever, it must be said, that a bride's shoes must never be overlooked. This is my belief anyhow. It is this belief that has had me on a quest to find the Valentino shoes that Jessica Biel wore to their Spring 2012 show in October of 2011. You may remember this post and then my reminder in my wedding shoe post about how much I was/am in love with these shoes. To say that I was/ am obsessed would be an understatement. That is how much I wanted these shoes... and in the end, I had to let them go.

Fave Casual Looks:  Cameron Diaz looks super cute and effortless in white skinnies and black heels and shirt coming out of her NYC hotel this Summer. Hillary Duff joins 'Danskin: Move For Change' and looks ADORBS with her baby belly and still looks gorge. Kate Winslet looks so much better than I do by just throwing on a scarf and while I am jealous, I still heart her big time.

Sophisticated and Simple: Anne Hathaway attends the "The Iron Lady" New York premiere and looks so put together with simple chic. Evan Rachel Wood at the 2011 GUCCI Awards For Women and Katie Holmes at the Jack and Jill premiere has a pop of color that make me swoon without going outside the box too much.

Retro Chicks: Evan Rachel Wood looks like a modern day flapper at the LACMA Art + Film Gala this past November. Have I ever mentioned that I love Evan Rachel Wood? Rachel McAdams attends The Cinema Society & Thierry Mugler screening of "Midnight in Paris"has that old Hollywood kind of thing going... and Mama likes it. Scarlett Johansson at the "I Bought a Zoo" premiere has this pinup-esque look that I think is gorgeous and totally attainable. LOVED IT.

Need These Shoes

Can anyone tell me who designed these absolutely lovely shoes that Jessica Biel was recently sporting in Paris? I have been dreaming about these shoes before I even knew they existed.
