Think Sexy (Say What?), Be Sexy

You may be aware of the 10 ways that I am investing in myself this year. I gave birth to a child not terribly long ago. If you follow any of my various channels, you likely are already aware of this fact. If you have given birth to a child or care for children, you may know all too well that the amount of time you feel sexy when you are with a baby... is next to nothing. You're feeding them, your doing dishes, you may or may not shower before you take them to daycare or if you stay at home, same story on the whole showering bit... I pose this question to you, my friends "How do new mother's get their sexy back? Once you get said sexy back, how do mother's keep their sexy current?" I am here to say that I am taking matters in my own hands and starting at the foundation, you know what I'm talkin' about... bras and panties. I was at the mall with the baby the other day. I went into Victoria's Secret for the semi-annual sale siren song was singing. Once I got in there, #1 I realized how long it had been since I stepped foot in a Victoria's Secret and #2 I realized that I am so not their primary customer anymore; Same with Aerie. I want to feel sexy but I don't want to feel like I am trying too hard in undergarments that aren't my current style since it's about me, not what other people think. Plus, I am a nursing mother and with the state of things currently, I need some full, sexy coverage. I think that I have found a great line that will my go to for seriously fantastic, full coverage yet sexy undergarments... ThirdLove.

With bra sizes all the way up to E and F, I was immediately drawn to this line because not only have I been busty my whole life but this whole region got a lot larger and more unpredictable as of late. You may be saying to yourself, TMI Amanda but I am writing a blog post about bras and undies so we are already getting personal here ;-). The Lace Balconet Bra (pictured) is like super comfortable and also ummm, super sexy... and I feel sexy in it, which is more than half the battle if you ask me. I am so pleasantly surprised at what a great quality you get for a very affordable price with ThirdLove.

This brand is exactly what I have been looking for. I want something that is at it's foundation, functional but at the same time, makes me feel like I am a vibrant woman of the world. That's a tall order but I am thinking that I can build my collection up for sure. My next purchase will likely be one of each color of the "Better than a Bra" Lace Bandeau, functional with personality! I also think that I need to stockpile the Lace Balconet Bra in multiple colors because Mama is in loooove and carries her ladies with pride (and support) these days.

Have you checked out ThirdLove? You can Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest!

*ThirdLove provided me with these garments for the purpose of review. All opinions are 100% mine and I have already purchased another bra on my accord.

  1. It's so important to feel beautiful! I think a lot of women compare themselves to other rather than focusing on feeling comfortable in their own body. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check it out.
