My baby is one of those good and alert babies, who likes to be talked to and kept entertained. This is amazing and I am so blessed but with this blessing comes a sporadic nap schedule wherein I can only get a smidge of crafting done before Mr. Man is up and at it again. Something I was able to get done though? In only a couple of naptimes? Well, I made some patchwork letters for the lil' dudes nursery... and they are pretty cute if I do say so myself.

What to Do with All Those Greeting Cards, DIY Bunting
We are having a baby or maybe already have but haven't debuted him yet... you'll never know! You may have already given us/sent us a card. If so, you are probably expecting, at some point, that your card will be thrown out with the bath water (not the baby, of course)... but after having just tossed some of our wedding greeting cards that were water damaged, I decided that I wanted to put the baby greetings of love, to a better use for the time being. At some point earlier this year, Amy of I'm Gonna Fly, posted an Instagram pic of how she put her well wishes to amazing use and I vowed to her that I would steal the idea, and here I am doing just that. She created an adorable bunting for the baby's nursery which looked both easy and meaningful. I mean, all those people took the time to buy a card and write well wishes.

Nesting Can Be Dangerous for the Change Purse
I think that even before I got pregnant, I had a good shopping instinct ;-). Now that I am pregnant? I am downright dangerous with a credit card. Besides the recently obsessive cleaning, I really just want to buy things all the time. I stopped off at Ann Taylor Loft on my way to Trader Joe's the other day, on a whim and bought three dresses on clearance with an additional 50% off. Will they fit me in a month's time? Nope. Did it feel good to buy them? Hells yes it did.
I have to categorize my recent shopping/hoarding/nesting instincts into different categories in order to justify the recent bulge in expenses and to my husband, who is currently in a world of hurt trying to keep up with me and ever changing emotions/ideas/shopping habits, this can help him get a bigger picture ;-)
