Style Icon: Blondie's Debbie Harry

Challenged with a throw back (hey, it's Thursday!) to a style icon that I admired, I had to think for a little bit about someone I thought was cool, a little edgy and totally herself. Someone that has always struck me as a cool cat, and awesome musician, is Debbie Harry of Blondie.

I have always been drawn to the imagery of Debbie in yellow. I'v been told that I look goof in yellow despite the blond hair which I have always thought was silly. Me thinks that they go hand in hand. There is nothing like Debbie Harry's wild mane of blond hair, sexy makeup and that yellow dress. Not too flashy and definitely not too sexy by definition, to me, it's totally gorgeous! With a Boohoo dress in tow, I tried to create a look similar to that which Blondie inspires. Obviously, I am not on any album covers but it's a look that can translate into an every day one. Obvi, big thanks to Boohoo for helping me pull this off!
