Diamond Candles, Combining Two of My Favorite Things

So I'm sure you remember that I have quite the affinity for candles, so much so that I tried my hand at making my own last month, with varying degrees of success in multiple batches. After that post went live, I was contacted by Diamond Candles to do a review and giveaway of their all natural soy candles. My first instinct was to say no, because I guess, who wants to read someone's review of a candle? Well, I know that isn't high on my list... but then I checked out their site. Not only do Diamond Candles come in a wide variety of sassy scents (my faves are the fruity ones) but, now here's the fun part, each candle has a ring tucked into it's wax for a big reveal. Apparently, they range in value from $10-$5000... So I thought, why not give 'er a try?

I will say that the majority of the fun of this candle is that there was most certainly a piece of jewelry in there and you had to sort of wait for it. I was not about to be one of those girls that dug in there with a spoon before the ring presented itself. I will always gravitate towards a cinnamon candle or something fruity scented so let's enjoy the sweeeeeeeeet smells...Thankfully, I burn candles all the time so it was no time at all before I saw the golf foil wrapper that I knew housed the bauble. It had gravitated to the side of the candle after one burn.

The retails cost of one of these candles is $24.95. My ring is certainly not of high value though cute and a perfect fit. Since you'd likely spend that much on a Yankee Candle or something fancy, this isn't a bad deal since it's sort of interactive, am I right? I enjoyed this candle and am actually burning it as I type up this post. This would probably be a pretty neat gift for that sassy girl in your life, just saying. Oooooh I just had an amazing idea for a proposal! ;-)

Since Diamond Candles is a super sassy and wonderful to me and to Prim and Propah readers, one of you can have the opportunity to try one of these candles too! Sounds great, right? Just use the Rafflecopter below and one winner will get their choice of candle for free (at least $24.95 value)!

I'm always drawn to the coconut scents, so I think I'd go for Hawaiian Coconut!
