Celebrity Inspired Winter Wear

I am currently looking for lots of outfit inspirations to get me through this Winter. It's so easy to hunker down, wearing sweaters and boots with no regard for looking fashion forward and only thinking about being warm... no, Amanda, no... don't give in to a complacent wardrobe! Where can you find new outfit ideas? Dur, celebrities. They have stylists who pick their clothes out for them, so why not take a couple notes from some of your fave celebs. Well, that's what I did. Check out some of my fave looks from the week, from some of my faves, and some attainable clothing options for us regular gals.

Rose Byrne: At the Killing Them Softly screening in NYC, Rose buttons up in a sheer floral shirt, a flouncy navy mini skirt and red lip.
MANGO Floral Chiffon Shirt, $59.99,ASOS 120 Denier Black Tights, $14,Topshop Pleated Navy Skirt, $68, Steve Madden Vicktem Suede Booties, $159, NARS Lipstick in Fire Down Below, $24

Katharine McPhee: Also at the Killing Them Softly premiere, Katharine sports a simple yet effective cold weather look. A pop of color always makes a statement.

Romwe Locomotive Style Moto Jacket, $106, Quicksilver Button Up, $42, Patent Leather Spike Heel, $60, Dorothy Perkins Super Skinny Jeans, $45, Lancome Golden Hat Lipstick in Rouge, $30, Swarovski Slake Gray Bracelet, $70

Ashlee Simpson: Showing up to support her big sis, Ashlee sported a sweater dress and a sweet beret. Perfect winter wear!

River Island Heart Print Jumper, $60, Bobbi Brown Lash Glamourous Mascara, $24, Wet Seal Sequined Beret, $8, Bakers Fugitive Platform Bootie, $90, ASOS 120 Denier Black Tights, $14

What do you think? How do you switch it up for the Winter months?

  2. all three different looks but I think my favorite is the last one, I just love long sweaters with skirts or sweater dresses with booties.

  6. I have to agree Tany, there is something so cute about a sweater dress and tights. Plus, I know I am always comfy in that ensemble but without sacrificing the style!
