So over the past month, I have been sort of absent from social media and blogging somewhat because I have been caring for my newborn baby boy! It has been an adventure of epic proportions, epic meaning that I have lost epic amounts of sleep and I am spending epic amounts of time loving a sweet little baby who happens to be the loudest farter I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Life has most definitely changed, for the better, but it's totally different for sure.

Wayfair's Daily Deals are Worth a Daily Look
I don't know if you have heard of Wayfair and all the amazing things they offer for home and well. life in general... and if you haven't? This is me introducing you to them officially. I have been a fan of Wayfair for quite some time, even before I was fortunate to be welcomed to their Homemaker blogger family just recently (yay!) so I am excited to tell you about one of my favorite things about Wayfair, their daily deals emails. I know what you're thinking. You are thinking that most emails that flood your mailbox from your fave stores are often deleted with your passing glance but I ALWAYS visit Wayfair straight from their daily emails... everything they offer is just so dang enticing for this home decorator wannabe. My most recent obsession? Sprucing up the deck and my outdoor spaces. In all honesty, Wayfair always seems to have my seasonal needs (mostly wants) under control and in this case, it's dressing up my outdoor oasis. Check out some items that I'm talking about, all plucked from daily deals this week.

My Summer Essentials with Wheat Thins Popped Chips
With
a new baby at home my must haves for the beach and day trips have changed
slightly. No longer am I only packing for myself but I am making sure that my
little man has all his needs met as well. My personal Summer essentials are
still pretty much the same, with one goal in mind, keep my pale skin protected
from the Sun and keep a snack on hand because Mama is always hungry these days.
Add those to a stylin’ diaper bag and Voila! you have my Summer Beach Bag
essentials!

Julep Inspired Propah Polish Color
Julep recently contacted me to create a mood board to inspire a new polish color straight out of my imagination! Since I would like to think that I have a lot of imagination, I immediately told them that I was up for the challenge. I checked out their newest shades (and started crushing on some right away). The thought of creating a Propah Polish to add to their collection sounded amazing. I knew instantly the colors I would work with in creating a polish with my site's namesake. Propah polish would be a base coat of pink, darker than pale but not quite fuschia with a black glitter imbedded in the base color. Pink with a pop of badassedness I'd like to think. I can just imagine myself drink some bubbly and snacking on chocolate (now that I'm not pregnant anymore!) with my girls before we head out of the night. The Propah shade would be feminine but with a rock-y edge... getting my vision, kids? Do an at home mani, pop a bottle, put on my imaginary Manolo's and hit the town!

My Must Haves for an At Home Manicure
Happy Mani Monday, my friends. I was recently disappointed with some nail salon experiences plus have been super lazy when it comes to spending money at the salon, so I have been doing my nails at home these past couple of weeks and I must say that I am getting pretty good at it. I have found that right combination of products that help me achieve a pretty fierce and pretty long lasting manicure (for at home that is). I thought I would compile my faves for you and let you know exactly what I like about each product. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination but I have tried many different things so have narrowed these down after lots of trial and error.
