The Propah Family Takes on the Big E!
I don't generally write a weekend recap or give you all the deets on what would seem like a regular ol' day but I was SO proud of our last Saturday.... seriously! As a Mom, it's always about planning. Sometimes you make plans and nothing goes right. Sometimes, an not as often, you make plans and those plans work out wonderfully... and that was this past weekend. On Saturday, we popped the kid in the car and make the hour and a half ride to the Big E in Western MA. I hadn't been since I was in college and the man and child hadn't been ever. We didn't really know what we were in for but we did end up having was THE BEST TIME. We spent the majority of our day in the area where the childrens' rides and food trucks were and that was fine by us. We spent a lot of money on those little pink tickets but every single penny was worth the excitement on this cute little kid's face. Here are some snaps from our really memorable day. The Propah Toddlah is STILL talking about the (creepy) singing bears!

Bachelorette Weekend Fun, Chicago Style
This past weekend I was lucky enough to jet off to Chicago for my girl Nathalie's bachelorette weekend extravaganza. There was food... a whole lot of food. There was pampering, like majorly relaxing pampering and lots of productivity. We made Chicago our biotch and were able to experience some of the best the city had to offer. We hit up some fantastic restaurants (hello S'more pancakes), we dressed up and drank from questionable straws and we hit up Lollapalooza, only to be evacuated, only to return to watch Calvin Harris and "young" people make out. Oh, and we can't forget the Oreos and watching the Olympics. Overall, it was one of those weekends that makes you smile to think about.

Weekend Getaway in Photos
The man and I share in July birthdays. His is the 4th, yep Independence Day and mine is the 10th, yep also Jessica Simpsons birthday. Since we started dating, we always kind of celebrate from his birthday until mine, doing fun things and giving each other cool stuff. This year, I got him a pair of Batman Converse sneakers and a surprise trip to New Hampshire and Maine all complete with a stay at a B&B. Needless to say, we had a nice time! Rather than bog you down with reading, feast your eye on the photo recap. Viola!
