This past Tuesday, there was a dinner to attend and in order to attend said dinner, I had to dress up the baby bump. Now for anyone who is or has been preggers, dressing up the bump can be a challenge not only physically and literally but also for the self esteem. It's hard to wear something with confidence and feel good about yourself when you are gaining weight in all the wrong places, well except that actual bump. I think I managed to pull off something worth showing off and I wore heels, which unfortunately we didn't get a picture of haha but overall, the man did well capturing the evening's look.

Get the Look, Fall/Winter Evening Wear
Of course, I peruse all manner of People Style Watches and US Weekly's for what the stars are donning for their evenings out. I cannot afford Louis V or Armani but I can take some sweet inspiration from what they girls are wearing and pull it into my own wardrobe. I mean, how hard can it be to recreate some simple yet effective evening looks for Fall parties and nights out with the ladies?

Outfit Post: Rainy Day Style
This past Friday my cousin celebrated her 30th birthday! YAY 30's! We were getting all set to go to a nice dinner and then it started to rain. It was no surprise, really. It had been raining all week and the weekend was looking to be the same way... but I have never let a little rain stop me from trying to bring it with ma clothes. Plus, I have been wanting to take my new Nanette Lepore platforms for a spin ;-). Rainy day style, coming right up!

Outfit Post: Sunday Brunch Featuring eShakti
This past Sunday, I went on a lady date with my blogging buddy Molly of Wicked Cheap. She was adorable as per usual and I was sure to put on my Sunday's best for her and all to see. I may or may not have been serving up some Sunday morning cleavage but if so, I apologized as the ladies normally don't make appearances during daylight... moving on haha. Molly and I have chatted about our adoration of eShakti so I was sure to wear my newest addition from the site, which specializes in customizing dresses to suit your style and needs. This particular dress is from their new Spring line and I had it shortened for a funner, flirty look. In retrospect, I probably should have worn tights because in Massachusetts, it's still hella chilly in March.

Outfit Post: Engagement Photos by Alvah Reida
So if you hadn't heard, oh hey, the man and I are getting married. Something that I knew I wanted to do from the very start was get engagement photos done. It's by no means a requirement when engaged but I knew we could get some cool photos done, get to know our photographer a little better in the process and ultimately find something pretty cool for our Save the Dates. The man and I had an idea that we fleshed out over time, which included taking pictures at the Comic Book store that we get our fix at. Alvah Reida, our photographer, also took us to nearby alley ways, through puddles and into the woods, resulting in some really awesome pictures that I am proud to say is my best outfit post yet ;-)

Outfit Post: Sunday Funday
So I took Friday off this week and went to NYC to see a friend of mine. I am in her wedding this Fall and she is in mine the following Winter. Needless to say, we like each other. I didn't do it full force fashion this weekend because really, we were going to get Bridesmaid dresses and as a means of being efficient, I wore flats. I did, however, want to wear my new shoes when I returned home on Sunday. I love these things; they are my new pride and joy. Oh, and I wore other things too...
So what did you guys do this weekend? Oh, and what did you wear?
- Shoes from DSW.com, Lovely People Agnes Pump
- Ann Taylor Modern Denim Trousers
- Martin and Osa Chambray Shirt (similar)
- Earrings by NOUMENON essence (formerly Wichser Studio)
- Bag by no name brand, picked up at Salvation Army
- Gray Worn Tee by GAP (similar)
So what did you guys do this weekend? Oh, and what did you wear?

Outfit Post: IFFBoston Style + Instagrams
This past weekend, the man and I took in some independent films at IFFBoston which is our local film festival, held every April. We always try to take in at least one movie a year, sometimes two. This year, we made a day of it to take in the Documentary Shorts package, featuring the South Street Diner screening of the lovely Melissa Dowler (and her hubby) whom I met at the Boston Bloggers event and another favorite of ours, Cat Cam.
Anyhoo, we spent the day checking out some movies, doing a little shopping and drinking beers, many, many beers. So what did I wear this whole time? Well, I am certainly glad that you asked. I brought my camera and forced the man to take outfit post pictures while we were out and about. I am 100% positive that he was embarrassed but I did not care.
