My Natural Bath + Body Faves, No Really

I am here to tell you that my bathroom has had an almost complete overhaul as far as my quest for natural beauty is concerned. After that eye opening beauty event earlier this year, I started replacing my purchases with other, more Earth and body friendly ones. The products pictured? Well, yeah, they're what my family is currently using and I'm really pleased to share some of my faves with you, totally unsolicited.

Shea Moisture, I just LOVE their baby line, which I'd been using even before the event, but I just recently purchased a body wash for both myself and my husband that not only smell awesome but are made with all natural and certified organic ingredients. My body smells of coconut + hibisucs on the regular since I use the shea butter soap for brightening and toning. The African Black Soap helps calm and soothe irritated skin and clear up acne when we need help with that.

Lush, OMG Lush. What's not to love about Lush? You walk into their store and it's like an assault of the senses in the best way possible. My husband got me a gift box on a whim and the last 6 months have been more heavenly due to it. I bought bulk of their Holiday items (Celebrate body lotion + Hot Toddy body wash) and on my last visit, took an adventurous step toward using their bar shampoo... and I do not regret that decision for a moment.

The Laughing Tree Organics, We really adore the Lavender Eco Baby Wash. Smells great and has got it going on...No sulfates, No parabens, Vegan, Cruelty Free and just as important, it's gentle on that baby-licious skin. I also use the LTO Apple Cider Vinegar+Orange Flower toner, which I was skeptical about at first but is really nice and believe it or not, refreshing!

Dermae e, I recently found this brand through Whole Foods and have only experienced their Microdermabrasion scrub but I love the smell, the small crystal blend and the way my skin feels after a good buff... So very smooth and healthy. 100% vegan, no paraben, sulfates, mineral oils, gluten, lanolin, GMOs or cruelty. *fist pump*

Java Skincare, a Local Lovin' feature may have been how I first discovered Java Skincare but I am most certainly glad that they brought the Body Serum into my life. It's almost like having an oil to help moisturize your skin that smells like almond extract? It's hard to explain but I use this after my shower to help retain moisture and it doesn't hurt that a little goes a long way.

Burt's Bees, I've used a variety of Burt's Bees products in my day but never with as much consistency as I do with their Brightening Even Skin Tone Moisturizing Cream. It's only 99% natural but it works so very well for my skin and doesn't leave me smelling something with a funk all day. It's still noncomedogenic, sustainable and due to it's color being derived from natural ingredients, said color may vary. That's a good sign... the only thing I'd like to see added is an SPF; that would make it literally, my favorite product ever.

Kiss My Face, I mean, I gotta shave right? Kiss My Face has many different scents to choose from but the 4 in 1 Moisture Shave lotions all have somethings in common... First, Vitamin E and natural oils soften your skin. Second, our creme formula provides a smooth close shave. Next, Golden Seal, Lemongrass and Aloe help to soothe. Last, olive and coconut oils moisturize. A complete shave without any parabens, phthalates or artificial ingredients your sensitive face does not need ...I took that from their website but I mean, they explain what I love about it so well!

Minka, you may remember Minka from a Local Lovin' piece from earlier in the year. They were nice enough to let me try their handmade brand Hand Salve, that is all natural and works like a charm. This Winter was so totally brutal and I kept this jar at my desk while I worked, to keep my skin from cracking under the pressure of the cold weather. Michelle of Minka created a line of natural skincare, made in small batches with love. Her body salve is next on my list of things to try!

What are  your natural bath + body faves?
